  • Originally created in the Bohemian Art Glass Workshops of the late 19th century, these stunning beads were meant to imitate/ represent large coral branch logs. They became High Prestige Trade Bead Currency for their rich color and inventive texture, and entered the bead treasuries of African Kings and Chieftains in Mali, Ghana and Nigeria, West Africa.

  • These fine luxurious beads are in the same configuration on a simple cotton cord as they were found in Mali, West Africa decades ago.
